This bridal-style editorial was inspired by dreamy Renaissance-style paintings featuring lush gardens. I wanted this shoot to resemble a modern interpretation of a common Renaissance painting scene; a woman adorned in delicate clothes and surrounded by illustrious florals. Then the twist was to bring in some classical and delicate bridal elements to bring this classical look into a wedding motif.

Bailey of Molly Taylor and Co. created an all-encompassing floral setup surrounding the gold-adorned settee from Borrow + Curated rentals. The floral arrangements featured a lush mixture of the following florals: Painted Ruffled Tulips, Pale Blue Delphinium, Blush Butterfly Ranunculus, Quick Sand Roses, Cappuccino Roses, Westminster Abbey Garden Roses, Blooming Quince Branches, Painted Lisianthus, Fritillaria, Smilax Vines, Jasmine Vine, Dried Bougainvillea, Dried Gypsophila, Rosegold Fern, and Dried Palms Fans.

The flow of the shoot was inspired by telling the story of the various stages of the wedding morning a bride goes through by styling with different looks. We started the styling with a dusty rose soft satin slip dress for the early morning getting pre-glam getting ready portion of the wedding day. We then transitioned her into a dreamy robe with sheer lace and tulle design by For Love and Lemons. This robe was designed with the hopeless romantic in mind with its design featuring feminine ruffles, airy balloon sleeves, and pretty ribbon details. The light airy quality of the bridal robe paired perfectly with pearl adorned veil designed by All About Romance.

For the high fashion wedding look fit for a Parisian event, we opted for an effortless and whimsical dusty blush gown. We paired the Arista Gown by Delana Formals featuring a plunging neckline and low back in a dream of layered tulle with the minimal and modern pearl drop earring designed by All About Romance. To tie the whole look together, we choose the Nikki Ivory style bootie by Bella Belle Shoes that features a garden of intricate Damask roses made of lace that bloom across the foot.

The shoot should inspire all brides to soak in the morning of their wedding and make time for some special bridal shots; and if time allows for it, a cup of tea to get the day started!
