Bold + Colorful Wedding in Saugatuck, Michigan

April 28, 2022

In a small town nestled along Lake Michigan, Taylor and Chelsea committed themselves to each other forever surrounded by their loved ones at Saugatuck Center for the Arts. Their wedding ceremony was filled with touching moments from their English Golden Retriever, Juno, walking with Chelsea down the aisle, lovely readings and poems shared by loved ones, to their love-filled vows that brought tears to just about everyone in attendance.

During the planning process, Taylor described their floral vision as wanting flowers that resembled, “a colorful garden on an alien planet” and Jessica of Kills Custom Creations delivered on that vision with lush floral aisle arrangements and table arrangements filled with colorful and quirky flowers in mismatched bud vases. The personal florals for these two brides were out of this world unique and complemented their individual wedding day styles perfectly.

Chelsea donned a floral lapel boutonnière designed with brightly colored jewel-toned flowers. Taylor’s bouquet was a lush bouquet filled with large king protea flowers to bring a whimsical bohemian vibe.

The couple spent months prior to their wedding day collecting unique glasses in jewel tones that complimented their overall wedding design and served as guest favors. Not only did these glasses elevate and bring color to their place settings, but each glass was also hand-selected to complement each guest’s personality.

The spent the evening dancing with all of their loved ones, crashing the photoboth, enjoying their delicious cake, and hosting a dance-off for their guests where the winner walked away with a Beyonce Lemonade vinyl. Safe to say that this wedding was one for the books!
